Top 5 Strongest Metal Fight Beyblades (Stock Combos Only)

Top 5 Strongest Metal Fight Beyblades (Stock Combos Only)

Here’s a practical breakdown of the five strongest stock combo Beyblades from the Metal Fight era, based on real-world testing, performance data, and battle outcomes. These aren’t anime rankings or popularity picks—they’re chosen purely for how well they perform straight out of the box.

1. Phantom Orion B:D

Phantom Orion has the best stock stamina performance of any MFB. Its free-spinning B:D tip gives it ridiculous spin time, and its balance is excellent across all stadium types.

·         The metal wheel’s core has outward weight distribution (OWD), increasing spin time and balance.

·         It holds up against nearly every Beyblade—Twisted Tempo, Scythe Kronos, Hades Kerbecs, and more.

·         Attack-types can beat it, but only with specific parts and rubber tips. Even then, it’s not easy.

·         Its fusion wheel has two modes (Stamina and Attack). Stamina mode is superior and should always be used.

2. Diablo Nemesis X:D

Diablo Nemesis is the heaviest stock Beyblade in the entire Metal Saga (51g). It’s not just heavy—it’s aggressive and versatile too.

·         The fusion wheel can enter Ultimate Balance Mode, where it spins freely to absorb hits.

·         X:D has two performance modes—Attack and Defense. Stick to Attack mode in real battles; it's far more effective.

·         Despite being designed as a balance-type, it hits like an attack-type and can KO lighter opponents.

·         Works best in BB-10 Attack Stadiums, where slopes help it land clean hits.

Diablo is the strongest all-rounder. But its raw power can be overkill—and unpredictable in some stadiums. It can easily beat most other MFBs (or any other generation too, like the best HMS Beyblades).

3. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS

A top-tier defense/stamina hybrid, Hades Kerbecs was dominant before 4D Beys took over.

·         The BD145 spin track is one of the best for defense in the entire series.

·         The wheel is wide and heavy, which helps with stamina and stability.

·         Boost mode (only usable with Hades wheel) removes gaps and improves balance.

·         Normal mode is flawed—causes scraping and reduces performance. Always use Boost mode.

Still a reliable pick for stamina-focused battles. But newer 4D Beys like Phantom and Duo can outlast it in a spin battle.

4. Earth Eagle 145WD

Despite being older, Earth Eagle has aged well. It's still one of the best balanced stock combos around.

·         The Earth wheel is nearly circular with very low recoil.

·         Its 145 track height helps with stamina, and WD (Wide Defense) tip keeps it spinning at low RPM.

·         Has proven success against many 4D attackers in real battles.

·         The same 145WD combo was reused in Twisted Tempo, Kreis Cygnus, and Dark Poseidon—proof of its quality.

A great stamina-type Bey with good defense and consistent performance. Still holds its own against many heavier Beys. The way to perfect an Earth Eagle against more modern ones (such as 4D Beys) is to increase its weight. The folks at SpiralForge have done an excellent job of bringing that vision to life with their custom full-metal Earth Eagle. So, if the Eagle is your favourite, try it in metal once.

5. Twisted Tempo 145WD (Basalt Horogium)

Twisted Tempo is one of the best defense-type Beyblades ever made, even holding up against many 4D Beys.

·         The Basalt wheel is perfectly circular, which greatly reduces recoil.

·         Internally imbalanced (on purpose), but still extremely stable.

·         Heavy enough to deflect attacks and wear out opponents.

·         Second heaviest fusion wheel after Diablo Nemesis.

A wall in battle. While it can be outspun by pure stamina types, it handles attackers better than most.
